I Work With:

People with Penises

Shift away from performance pressure and build confidence in a fully clothed and structured online space.

  • Hands-off Coaching: Learn how to apply the 5 somatic tools (breath, movement, sound, awareness, and touch) with no genital touch during Zoom sessions

  • Break Free From Scripts: Move past goal-oriented sex and associated expectations into being present

  • Address Specific Challenges: Learn how to manage performance anxiety, early ejaculation, and erectile difficulty (ED) through practical somatic guidance

People with Vulvas

Put an end to putting on a show or feeling like you need to earn pleasure.

  • 100% Online and Fully Clothed: Explore somatic tools in the privacy of your own home. Sessions focus on the 5 somatic tools and do not include any genital touch

  • Prioritise Your Pleasure: Unlearn deep-seated conditioning, bedroom people-pleasing, and rigid performance goals

  • Address Physical & Emotional Blocks: Use somatic practices to help safely navigate vaginal numbness, low desire, or pain.

People in Relationships

Break out of predictable loops and learn how to build a shared, fulfilling intimate language together.

  • Guided Boundaries & Creating Safety: Practice relational somatic exercises, including how to co-regulate and communication scripts

  • Bridge Desire Differences: Navigate mismatched libido through nervous-system awareness rather than pressure or conflict

  • Establish Consent & Play: Build confidence around ongoing boundaries, shared goals, and emotional connection

Everyone is honoured here, regardless of background, gender identity, or sexuality. To help map out specific physiological conditions and tools, like vaginismus support for vulva owners or ejaculatory control and prostate care for penis owners, parts of this site refer to anatomical terms. This is always done with the understanding that anatomy does not determine gender. No matter your identity, whether cisgender, transgender, non-binary, gender-fluid, or intersex, you and your journey belong here. Being queer-affirming, sex-work positive, and trauma-informed forms the core foundation of Desire Pathways. While my relational coaching scope focuses on monogamous dynamics, this remains a non-judgmental environment where you are safe to explore intimacy on your own terms.

How Online Somatic Sex Coaching Works

Book & Confirm

Select a time for your 30-minute Foundation Session ($50 NZD). To finalise your booking, you’ll need to read and accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

The booking calendar automatically adjusts to your local time zone.

The Foundation Session

We meet via Zoom to discuss your goals. I will complete your intake form with you during this session, ensuring we have a clear, shared understanding of your needs and establishing safety from the very start. If we discover that somatic coaching is not the right fit for your current needs, I will guide you toward appropriate professional disciplines that can support you.

01

Ongoing Pathways & Integration

Once we’ve established a fit, choose the Individual Pathway (1:1) or Relational Pathway (2:1) to begin the transformational work. After each session, you'll receive a recap and tailored 'home-play' exercises via email to help integrate presence and pleasure into your daily life.

02

The Step-Forward Credit

The initial $50 foundation fee is an investment in your safety and alignment. If we both agree to move forward into an ongoing pathway, this $50 is fully credited toward your first full session.

Meet Michaela

Certified Somatic Sex Coach, Sexologist & Founder of Desire Pathways

Michaela Tutty, a Certified Somatic Sex Coach, is leaning against a tree in a natural setting, representing an embodied and grounded approach to intimacy coaching.

Kia ora, I’m Michaela Tutty. Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by how we connect, how our bodies change, and how we navigate intimacy. It is this lifelong curiosity that drew me to psychology, sexology, and becoming a Certified Somatic Sex Coach and Sexologist. I founded Desire Pathways because I want people to have a safe space to be curious about what is going on in their sexuality.

Whether you choose individual coaching or come in for relational work, we use the five core somatic tools of breath, awareness, touch, sound, and movement to drop out of the head, lower the pressure, and return to the body. This is a supportive space where we slow down and explore what feels natural to you, helping you move past what you think you should want and step into what your body already knows. To ensure an ethical and supportive space for you, I participate in regular professional supervision.

  • BA in Psychology, Massey University

  • Registered Member of the Somatic Sex Educators Association of Australasia (SSEAA)

  • IICT Approved Somatic Sex Coach

Every coaching pathway begins here.

Before we start our work together, we begin with a Foundations Session. This is a 30-minute online conversation to ensure we are the right fit and to clarify what you want to achieve in our sessions.

Whether you are looking for individual or relational coaching, this initial meeting is where we establish consent, presence, and safety from the very beginning.

  • Requirements: You must be 18 years of age or older to book a session with Desire Pathways.

  • Session Fee: $50 NZD

  • The Credit: If we both decide to move forward into an ongoing pathway, this $50 is fully credited toward your first full session. If we determine your goals are outside my coaching scope, I will recommend alternative professional disciplines that can support you.

  • Format: A secure, online video link from the comfort of your own space.

Referrals & Self-Referrals

I work collaboratively with GPs, psychologists, and allied health professionals across New Zealand. Individuals and couples are also welcome to self-refer directly.

Practice Standards:

  • Format: All individual and relational sessions are conducted online via Zoom.

  • Boundaries: Sessions are fully clothed at all times and entirely hands-off, featuring zero physical contact between coach and client.

  • Modalities: Integration of Sensate Focus therapy frameworks, somatic regulation (breath, movement, sound, awareness, non-erotic self-touch), and cognitive behavioural coaching techniques tailored to intimacy and sexual wellness.
